This brew was inspired by bisonbrew.com's dunkelweizen. It is the first wheat beer form the small home brewery. It's a little darker, than we - at least me - expect from a wheat beer, and some more malt character. Hops are only used for bittering, no arome nor flavor from hops in this brew.
BJCP description of Dunkelweizen: A deep reddish-copper, moderately strong, malty, complex Trappist ale with rich malty flavors, dark or dried fruit esters, and light alcohol blended together in a malty presentation that still finishes fairly dry.
